Sacramento International Airport (IATA: SMF, ICAO: KSMF) is a public airport located 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the city of Sacramento in Sacramento County, California.

On June 7, 2006, plans were announced to replace the aging Terminal B with a brand new terminal by the year 2011 at a total estimated cost of $1.1 billion. According to the plan, Terminal B would still be in use until the grand opening of the new terminal.
